What a fantastic way to celebrate the upcoming Easter holidays than with our wonderful school community! This past Saturday, March 16th, FOLF hosted a cracking Easter event that was filled with fun, delicious treats, and a sprinkle of creativity.
The highlight of the day, of course, was the much-anticipated Easter treasure hunt! The children (and let’s be honest, some eager parents too!) excitedly followed the clues scattered around the school grounds, their eyes peeled for the cryptic clues. There were giggles aplenty as they discovered the location of the next clue and eventually the chocolate treasures at the end of the hunt. It was heartwarming to see the joy on their faces and the teamwork blossoming between different children from across the school.
But the fun didn’t stop there! We had a delightful spread of bacon sandwiches and fluffy hot cross buns available for purchase. These delicious treats were the perfect fuel for all the egg-cellent activities and a great way to raise some extra funds for the PTA.
Speaking of activities, our Easter crafts corner was a hive of creativity! Children of all ages unleashed their inner artists, decorating Easter egg posters with vibrant colours and images. The competition was fierce (in the best way possible!), and it was a joy to see the unique and imaginative designs come to life. Our winners will be announced on Monday for those lucky enough to win an Easter egg.
We’d like to take a moment to thank everyone who came out and made this event a roaring success. A huge thank you goes to the dedicated PTA volunteers who tirelessly planned, organised, and ran the event. Of course, the biggest thanks go to all the amazing children and their families who participated with such enthusiasm.
The atmosphere was filled with laughter, joy, and the true spirit of community. It was a wonderful way to celebrate the Easter season and create lasting memories for everyone involved.
We can’t wait for our next PTA event! In the meantime, we hope you all have a relaxing and enjoyable Easter break!
