Halloween Disco a Screaming Success!

Halloween Disco a Screaming Success!

On Friday the 14th of October, things got rather spooky at Long Furlong Primary School.  The schoolchildren had a fantastic time at this year’s Halloween disco.  Arranged by members of the FOLF committee and supported by parents, the disco was one of the first opportunities since the COVID pandemic for the children to enjoy a school disco.

Throughout the night two separate discos were held, with children from Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 having fun dressing up as their favourite Halloween characters and enjoying the fun and games in the main hall.

Later the same evening it was the chance for Years 3 to 6 to enjoy spending time together dressed as vampires, skeletons, witches, and wizards.  The DJ provided a great selection of music for the children to dance to.

For those who weren’t too keen on the choice of music, there was the opportunity to take part in some Halloween-themed drawings outside of the main hall.

Thank You’s

Thank you again to Claire and her team for organising the event and the parents who volunteered on the night to ensure the Halloween disco was a great success.
